Playing catch-up in the Android competition, after releasing a now underwhelming XPERIA X10, the struggling Japanese-Swedish mobile phone giant pins its hopes on its XPERIA line-up with the official announcements of the new Sony Ericsson XPERIA X8 due for release before the end of the 3rd quarter.
